A reminder that Each junior is expected to take the SAT twice (both in March and May) and the ACT once in April. The deadline to register for the SAT in March, our first exam, is February 8th. We are setting an internal goal of getting everyone signed up before winter break.
It should be noted that both College Board and ACT now require that students upload a photo of themselves to their account before they are able to complete their SAT registration. The appropriate links for registering are found on the sidebar of this blog. Remember that for the SAT you should use the College Board link.
If you have any questions or encounter any difficulties with the process, please contact Mr. George mgeorge@bostoncollegiate.org (617) 265-1172 ext. 238.
The below link contains a copy of the letter that was sent home to all junior families regarding testing this spring. It includes all of the test dates and registration deadlines.

Presentations at Family-Teacher Conferences
The evening of February 2nd, the College and Alumni Office will provide to presentations to BCCS families: "College Programming at BCCS" and the "Junior Family College Kick-Off." The first presentation is specifically for 7th and 8th grade families, and it will take place from 5:00pm – 5:50pm. The meeting will provide information on all of the services our College Counselors and Director of Alumni Programming offer in the High School to support our students in preparing for and persisting in college. The goal of the second meeting is to briefly introduce parents to the college application process at BCCS, including our SAT prep work. Parents will receive a general outline of the different tasks and aspects of the college application process, as well as what they can be doing to support their students through each step of the way. The meeting will take place from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
